A Hurt Berry chilli is a super‑hot, bumpy, elongated pepper created by UK grower Chris Fowler. It’s known for combining Carolina Reaper–level heat with a fruity, citrus‑leaning flavour, and it produces large, gnarly pods with a distinctive “twisted” look.

Aji Amarillo is a vibrant, medium-hot chili from Peru, measuring 12–15 cm in length and 2–3.5 cm in diameter, with a distinctive fruity, tropical flavour. The Aji Amarillo is known for its medium heat, comparable to that of cayenne peppers and tabasco chilies. It is 4 to 20 times hotter than a jalapeño, which typically ranges from 2,500 to 8,000 SHU.

Cherry Bomb chillies are small, round, medium-hot peppers known for their bright red color, fruity flavour, and compact size, suitable for fresh eating, pickling, and cooking. Cherry Bomb chillies are classified as medium-hot, with a Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) range of roughly 10,000–30,000 SHU, simialr in heat to a cayenne pepper. The Hungarian Hot Wax is a versatile chilli pepper known for its bright yellow colour when young, turning orange and then red as it ripens. It has a mild to moderate heat level, making it popular for both fresh eating and cooking.

On the lower end, it’s milder than a jalapeño.
On the higher end, it can be noticeably hotter, especially when fully ripe.

It’s often described as having a citrus-like tang with floral undertones, making it popular in hot sauces, salsas, and marinades where both flavour and fire are desired.
Apricot Habaneros typically range between 100,000 and 350,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units), placing them firmly in the very hot category — several times hotter than a jalapeño.

The Apache chilli (Capsicum annuum ‘Apache’) is a compact, medium-sized chilli that ripen from green to yellow, orange, and finally bright red.
Heat level: On the Scoville scale, Apache chillies measure up to around 75,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units). This puts them in the hot category — spicier than jalapeños but milder than habaneros.
Flavour & Use: They have a clean, sharp heat with a slightly fruity undertone, making them versatile for fresh use, drying, or cooking. They’re especially good in salsas, stir-fries, and spicy marinades.

A Naga chilli (often called Naga Morich or simply Naga) is a super‑hot chilli pepper from Northeast India and Bangladesh, famous for its intense heat, fruity aroma, and distinctively wrinkled, wedge‑shaped pods. It is one of the key ancestors of the Bhut Jolokia (Ghost pepper) and shares many of its traits, though the Naga is often slightly shorter and rounder.
Heat level: Typically 800,000–1,200,000 SHU, placing it firmly in the super‑hot category.

Padrón peppers are small, green Spanish chilli peppers, typically about 5 cm (2 in) long with a slightly wrinkled, elongated shape. They’re most often harvested while still unripe and green, giving them a mild, slightly grassy flavour with a hint of nuttiness when cooked.
Their charm lies in the “pepper lottery” — while most are mild, a few can surprise you with noticeable heat. On the Scoville scale, they range from 500 to 2,500 SHU, meaning most are about as mild as a banana pepper, but the hotter ones can approach the lower end of a jalapeño’s heat. With this years heat waves, the plants have suffered some ‘heat stress’ and our Padron Peppers seem to be generally more spicier than usual.
They’re traditionally pan-fried in olive oil and sprinkled with coarse sea salt, making them a popular Spanish tapas dish.
